In a dramatic turn of events at Jaipur airport, a female SpiceJet employee was arrested following an altercation with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel. According to the airline, the incident was borne out of a case of sexual harassment by the male CISF member.

The incident unfolded on Thursday when the female employee was required to undergo mandatory screening at the entrance designated for airline crew. However, no female CISF personnel were present at the time, leading to a heated confrontation. A senior CISF official stated that the situation escalated when the female employee slapped the on-duty CISF personnel.

In its official statement, SpiceJet emphasized a different perspective, alleging that the CISF personnel had used inappropriate language and asked the female employee to meet him after hours at his home. The airline has responded to this serious allegation with a commitment to pursue immediate legal action, offering full support to its employee.
