Tragedy in Mumbai: Young Woman's Life Cut Short

A 23-year-old woman named Mamta Kadam committed suicide on Monday by jumping into the sea off Marine Drive in Mumbai. She was declared dead upon arrival at GT Hospital. Mamta, who worked at a reputed IT firm, left a bag containing her ID, indicating personal issues may have led to her tragic demise.

A 23-year-old woman, identified as Mamta Kadam, allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the sea off Marine Drive in Mumbai on Monday morning, according to a police official.

Responding to an alert, police and fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene around noon. They rushed Mamta to GT Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival, an official from the Marine Drive police station confirmed.

The woman reportedly left her bag on a pier, which contained an ID card revealing her identity. She lived in Andheri and worked for a reputed IT firm. Sources indicated that an examination of her mobile phone suggested she may have taken her own life due to personal reasons.
