Project Mango Unnati: Transforming Mango Cultivation in Karnataka

Gram Unnati has partnered with Coca-Cola India to launch Project Mango Unnati in Karnataka, focusing on sustainable mango cultivation to improve farmers' incomes. Collaborating with state horticulture agencies, the initiative aims to enhance the quality, size, and shelf life of mangoes, while promoting modern farming practices.

Gram Unnati has teamed up with Coca-Cola India to launch 'Project Mango Unnati' in Karnataka, targeting sustainable cultivation of Alphonso and Totapuri mangoes to boost farmers' incomes.

The project will collaborate with state horticulture bodies such as Krishi Vigyan Kendra, the Mango Board, and the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research. Gram Unnati's CEO, Aneesh Jain, highlighted the initiative’s focus on quality and modern farming practices to transform mango farming in Karnataka.

Coca-Cola India's Senior Director, Rajesh Ayapilla, emphasized the project's goal of empowering farmers through advanced horticulture solutions, helping them achieve better market prices.

The initiative also plans to promote sustainable agriculture practices, including IPM, micro irrigation, and water conservation, enhancing yield and reducing environmental impact.
