The victims were attending a birthday party in the village when the unfortunate event occurred. Their bodies have been transported to Suryapet District Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police identified the deceased as Tippareddy Sripalreddy, a 42-year-old builder from Khammam, and Shavalya Raju, a 45-year-old software professional from Narsaraopet, Andhra Pradesh. The third victim was identified as 12-year-old Shavalya Usha, daughter of Shavalya Raju.

This tragic drowning has cast a pall over the local community, highlighting the need for enhanced safety measures near water bodies during social gatherings.
