Himachal CM Meets Union Ministers to Address State's Key Issues

Union Minister of Power Manohar Lal Khattar met Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Chandigarh for detailed discussions on power, smart cities, and more. Sukhu also met with other Union Ministers to address road safety and disaster management. The meetings aimed to resolve ongoing state issues with the central government.

Union Minister of Power, Manohar Lal Khattar, met with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Chandigarh last Friday. The two leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion covering several crucial topics, including power and smart cities.

'We had a detailed discussion on several topics like power, smart cities, and many others,' Himachal CM Sukhu stated post-meeting. He added, 'We met with Union Minister of Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed topics related to Himachal Pradesh. Let's see what happens.'

The meeting was also attended by other state ministers. On July 17, Sukhu met with Union Minister for Road Transport and National Highways, Nitin Gadkari, urging the declaration of certain roads as national highways. The Chief Minister also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking funds for disaster management. These meetings aimed at resolving critical state issues pending with the central government.
