Indian Army Marks Kargil Vijay Diwas with Awe-Inspiring Weapons Display

The Indian Army celebrated Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay Diwas with a grand weapon display at Mariani Military Station. The event, aimed at honoring fallen heroes, captivated students and NCC cadets, giving them insights into military life and inspiring patriotism.

To celebrate the Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay Diwas and honor the fallen heroes of the war, the Indian Army hosted a splendid weapon and equipment display at Mariani Military Station on Friday, according to a press release by PRO Defence. The exhibit attracted a keen crowd of school children from Mariani, Jorhat, Degree College, and NCC cadets.

The spectators were enthralled by the stunning exhibit of weapons, artillery guns, and advanced technology from the Indian Army's arsenal. Students had the opportunity to interact with officers and jawans, gaining invaluable insights into military life. This interaction inspired many young minds to consider a career in the armed forces. Additionally, a movie depicting the valiant sacrifices of the Kargil War heroes was screened for the students.

The event received high praise from all attendees and left a lasting impression on 152 students and NCC cadets, instilling in them a robust sense of nationalism and a desire to serve the nation.
