Cochin Shipyard Limited delivers its 15th Electric Hybrid 100 Pax Water Metro Ferry to Kochi Water Metro, marking a milestone in sustainable water transportation. The delivery ceremony witnessed the signing of protocol documents by CSL and KMRL officials.

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) successfully delivered its 15th Electric Hybrid 100 Pax Water Metro Ferry to Kochi Water Metro on Saturday. The milestone was celebrated with a protocol signing ceremony at CSL, attended by directors and senior officials from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), CSL, DNV, and IRS.

The protocol document was signed by Harikrishnan S, Chief General Manager of CSL, and Shaji P Jananardhanan, Chief General Manager of KMRL. Both organizations collaborated closely to ensure the project's completion, significantly enhancing sustainable and modern water transportation in Kochi. This state-of-the-art vessel offers efficient, eco-friendly transportation for Kochi's residents and visitors.

Equipped with electric hybrid technology, the ferry reduces emissions and environmental impact. The delivery highlights CSL and KMRL's dedication to advancing India's maritime capabilities with eco-conscious solutions. The partnership exemplifies excellence in the Indian shipbuilding industry.
