Petronet LNG Ltd, India's largest importer of liquefied natural gas, reported a significant 40% increase in net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year, driven by a rise in gas volumes.
The company disclosed a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,100.76 crore for April to June, marking a substantial rise from the Rs 787.73 crore earned during the same period the previous year, according to a stock exchange filing.
Additionally, revenue from operations saw a 15% uptick, reaching Rs 13,415.13 crore.
