Delhi Police Nab Drug Kingpin, Seize Cocaine Worth Rs. 13 Crores

The South-East District Anti-Narcotics Squad arrested a drug peddler in Delhi, recovering 1.321 kg of cocaine worth Rs. 13 crores, seven mobile phones, and other items. The arrested individual, Gnahore Serge Pacome from the Ivory Coast, was identified through extensive technical analysis and surveillance.

The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the South-East District arrested a drug peddler following a raid at Hari Nagar Ashram, Sunlight Colony, last week, Delhi Police reported on Wednesday. The operation yielded cocaine worth Rs. 13 crores, seven mobile phones, one scooter, Rs. 11,900 in cash, packing materials, and a digital weighing machine.

The suspect, identified as Gnahore Serge Pacome, a 35-year-old from the Ivory Coast, was apprehended in a meticulously planned raid. Earlier, on June 15, a raid resulted in the arrest of two Nigerian nationals, Anene Chukwa and Livinus Uche, who were found with 386 grams of cocaine. A case was registered under FIR No. 205/24 of the NDPS Act at PS Sunlight Colony, but the source of the drugs remained undisclosed.

Through detailed technical analysis, Pacome, suspected to be the 'kingpin', was identified. A dedicated team led by Inspector Vishnu Dutt and comprising Sub Inspector Nagendra, SI Satyanarayan, ASI Sudhir, Head Constable Karamveer, HC Mohit, HC Dharmender, HC Baldev, HC Hidayat, and Constable Balwant, was formed to capture him. Technical surveillance and intelligence gathering led to locating Pacome's hideout. During the raid, he attempted to flee but was captured. The search revealed 1.321 kg of pure cocaine and seven mobile phones.

A case under section 21 of the NDPS Act and section 14 of the Foreigners Act has been registered at Sunlight Colony police station. The investigation continues.
