Iran Releases Oil Cargo from Seized Tanker in Gulf of Oman

Iran has released the oil cargo of the M/T St. Nikolas tanker, which was seized earlier this year in the Gulf of Oman. The Greek-owned, Marshall Islands-flagged vessel, carrying 1 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil, remains held by Iranian authorities.

The oil cargo of the M/T St. Nikolas tanker, which was seized by Iran in the Gulf of Oman earlier this year, has been released, a shipping source told Reuters.

The Marshall Islands-flagged, Greek-owned vessel, which was laden with 1 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil, is still being held by Iran, the source added.
