J&K Bank Registers Robust Q1 Performance with 27% Profit Growth

J&K Bank saw a notable 27% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 415 crore in the April-June quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25 compared to Rs 326 crore in the same period last year.
Income for the first quarter surged to Rs 3,188 crore from Rs 2,885 crore, with interest income climbing to Rs 2,994 crore from Rs 2,657 crore year-on-year. Net interest income grew by 7% to Rs 1,369 crore.
The bank's gross NPAs decreased to 3.91% from 5.77%, while the net NPA also fell to 0.76% from 1.39%. With an improved Capital Adequacy Ratio of 15.07% and advancements in digital initiatives, the bank is strategically poised for continued growth.
