A new study by DBS Bank in collaboration with Financial Times Longitude indicates that Indian businesses are gearing up for a new era of globalisation. The research, surveying over 570 senior executives across 15 countries, shows India leading in areas like business diversification, productivity improvement, and skill acquisition.

The survey highlights that 78% of Indian businesses will prioritize securing new skills and talent over the next two years. Additionally, 76% aim to boost productivity, while 72% will focus on business diversification through innovation and new market channels.

Among other noteworthy findings, Indian businesses are more committed to ESG reporting compared to their regional peers. Furthermore, 92% of treasury and finance teams in Indian firms play an active role in corporate strategy, reaffirming their crucial position in the evolving business landscape.
