NSE Partners with Defence Ministry to Boost MSME Capital Market Access
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Defence to facilitate MSMEs in the defence sector accessing capital markets. This collaboration aims to help MSMEs raise productive capital efficiently via the NSE Emerge platform, with supportive activities planned over five years.

This five-year deal involves awareness drives such as seminars and workshops to guide MSMEs in the capital raising process.
Coordination with intermediaries like merchant bankers and transfer agents will also be provided to aid businesses in navigating regulatory requirements.
Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane witnessed the signing of the MoU, which is expected to help MSMEs grow their operations, reach new markets, and fund R&D activities.
