The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has established a high-level committee to investigate the basement flooding incident at a coaching institute in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar, which resulted in the deaths of three civil services aspirants.
The investigation will delve into the circumstances of the flooding, identify those responsible, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence. According to the MHA spokesperson, the team will include officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Delhi government, and Delhi Police.
The committee aims to submit its findings within 30 days, following a tragic incident caused by a burst drain that led to the deaths of Shreya Yadav, Nivin Dalwin, and Tanya Soni.
