Controversy Surrounds Old Rajinder Nagar Tragedy

Amid the Old Rajinder Nagar coaching center tragedy, Shima Kathuria, wife of the accused Manuj Kathuria, has defended her husband against rash driving allegations. She contends that there was no rash driving, which can be seen in the widely circulated video.

Questions have been raised over the negligence of civic authorities. Shima labeled the incident a 'failure of the system', describing it as painful. 'My husband was not driving at high speed. He was trying to reach a safe spot,' she stated while questioning why the coaching center was operating a library without proper permission in a flood-prone area.

Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar has submitted an inquiry report on the incident. Meanwhile, the police have arrested multiple individuals, including the SUV driver, who was seen speeding past the center in CCTV footage. Authorities are pressing charges against those they believe are responsible for the tragic deaths of three students.
