BJP MLA Challenges Rahul Gandhi Over His Caste Amid Heated Lok Sabha Debate

BJP MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar questioned Rahul Gandhi's caste and demanded his membership be scrapped. His remarks followed a heated exchange between BJP MP Anurag Thakur and Rahul Gandhi over the issue of caste census during the Union Budget discussion in the Lok Sabha.

Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar on Wednesday raised questions about the caste of Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, alleging he is the 'grandson of Feroze Khan' and stating his mother is a Christian.

Gurjar's comments came a day after a heated exchange between BJP MP Anurag Thakur and Rahul Gandhi on the topic of caste census during the Union Budget discussion in Parliament.

Gurjar further asserted that spreading communalism is inherent to Gandhi and accused him of giving false details about his caste and religion, demanding the cancellation of his membership. He emphasized the need for a caste census while questioning Gandhi's right to discuss caste issues.
