Capital Group Sells Stake in SIS; Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Buys In
Capital Group sold a 4.3% stake in SIS for over Rs 258 crore, with shares sold at Rs 415 each. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and 360 One Mutual Fund acquired a combined 3.6% stake in the company for Rs 214.95 crore.
Financial services giant Capital Group divested a 4.3% stake in SIS, amounting to over Rs 258 crore, on Wednesday via open market transactions.
The sales were made through Capital Group's affiliates, Smallcap World Fund and American Funds Insurance Series Global Small Capitalization Fund, totaling 62,26,115 shares at Rs 415 each.
Conversely, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and 360 One Mutual Fund purchased a combined 3.6% stake, equating to 51.79 lakh shares, for Rs 214.95 crore. SIS shares closed 3.41% lower at Rs 415.20 on the BSE.
