Minister of State in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, informed Lok Sabha on Thursday about the extensive monitoring of CISF personnel through social media. The initiative aims to evaluate the psychological state of the personnel at every level, preventing negative influences.
Mohol was responding to a query from MP Kangana Ranaut regarding the government's measures to scrutinize CISF personnel at airports, particularly concerning their behavior towards passengers. He detailed the use of a Personal Information System, a web-based project where the personal and professional profiles of CISF personnel are updated by Supervisory Officers. These profiles are carefully reviewed when deploying personnel to different units.
Furthermore, the Minister highlighted that regular behavior detection and soft skill training sessions are conducted for CISF personnel to enhance their moral and motivation. This action follows the alleged incident on June 6, where CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur slapped MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport, leading to Kaur's transfer pending a disciplinary inquiry.
