A school in Delhi's Greater Kailash area received a bomb threat via email, leading to a swift evacuation on Friday, officials said. Delhi Police reported that the email claimed a bomb had been planted in the school on Thursday, although no evidence has been uncovered yet.
Legal proceedings have been initiated. Summer Fields School Principal Shalini Agarwal stated that the management evacuated students within 10 minutes of receiving the email. 'As per the SOP, we evacuated the students within 10 minutes. We informed the police and district administration, and we are grateful for their prompt response,' she said.
Police and bomb squads are currently inspecting the premises. 'There was absolutely no panic amongst the parents,' Agarwal added. Further details are awaited.
