Skipper Harmanpreet Singh scored twice, and PR Sreejesh's brilliant saves ensured India secured the bronze medal. The team made a remarkable comeback after trailing by a goal in an electrifying atmosphere at the Yves du Manoir Stadium.
Sreejesh, in what was his final game for India, was visibly emotional as he celebrated on the ground, joined by his teammates. This victory marks India's first consecutive bronze hockey medals at the Olympics in 52 years, following the 1972 Munich Games.
