RSS Urges Global Support for Persecuted Minorities in Bangladesh

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has voiced its strong condemnation of recent violence against minority communities, including Hindus and Buddhists, in Bangladesh. Sunil Ambekar, the RSS's Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, emphasized the need for international and domestic support in addressing the violence and ensuring the safety of the affected populations.

RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale expressed grave concerns about the violence targeting Hindus, Buddhists, and other minority communities amid the recent power transition in Bangladesh. He highlighted incidents of targeted killings, looting, arson, and attacks on religious sites, urging the interim government to take decisive actions to protect lives and properties.

Hosabale further appealed to the Government of India to play an active role in supporting Bangladesh as a friendly neighbor. He called upon the global community and India's political parties to stand in solidarity with the persecuted communities. The statement follows Sheikh Hasina's resignation and the appointment of Yunus as the head of Bangladesh's interim government amid ongoing protests.
