Nation Mourns Death of Former EAM Natwar Singh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders expressed grief over the demise of Natwar Singh, former External Affairs Minister, who passed away at the age of 93. Singh had a distinguished career in diplomacy and politics, and was known for his intellect and writings.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed sorrow over the death of former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh, highlighting his significant contributions to diplomacy and foreign policy.

Natwar Singh, who was 93, passed away at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after a prolonged illness. His last rites will be held at Lodhi Road Crematorium tomorrow.

Prominent leaders, including Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala, have conveyed their condolences. Singh, who served as EAM from 2004 to 2005, was also a recipient of the Padma Bhushan in 1984.
