A 13-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being electrocuted at a cricket ground in outer Delhi's Ranhola area. The incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Saturday when the boy was playing cricket at the Kotla Vihar Phase-2 cricket ground. According to police, the boy received a fatal electric shock after retrieving a ball near an iron pole carrying an electric wire to a nearby Gaushala.

The boy was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital by a PCR van, where hospital authorities declared him dead on arrival. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 106(1) BNS and have commenced an investigation into the matter.

Further updates on the investigation are awaited, as authorities continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
