In his first interview after securing bail in the Delhi Excise policy case, Senior AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia expressed confidence that the Supreme Court would deliver justice, similar to his own experience. Speaking to ANI, Sisodia stated, "We have full hope from the Supreme Court. I have also got justice from the Supreme Court...The Supreme Court has said in its order that I have to appear before the CBI and ED offices every Monday and Thursday between 10 and 11 am. Today morning I first went to the CBI office and then to the ED office and met the IOs of both."
Emphasizing resilience, Sisodia said, "There is no demotivation. When there is a crisis, people show more unity strongly. I think people had anger and resolution during these times. There was no breakaway of the party during the crisis. The Delhi government worked hard for the people of Delhi during the tough times. The leadership of Aam Admi Party went through the toughest times but the party workers' leaders and the people of Delhi have shown unity, and this unity is our strength."
Earlier on Sunday, Sisodia met with volunteers in his Patparganj Assembly constituency, acknowledging their unwavering efforts in his absence. He said, "All our volunteers did not lose courage in adverse circumstances. Now we will soon come out of this crisis. Together with the people of Delhi, we will once again form a government with a huge majority under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and will forfeit the deposit of the BJP."
In a separate meeting at his residence attended by prominent AAP leaders, Sisodia emphasized that the party is preparing for the Delhi assembly elections and the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls. Senior leaders like Sandeep Pathak, Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai, Pankaj Gupta, Ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and other AAP leaders were present.
