The All India Bar Association (AIBA) has called for a comprehensive investigation into the alleged international conspiracy behind the Hindenburg report. AIBA Chairman and Senior Advocate Dr. Adish C. Aggarwala urged the Indian government to initiate a 360-degree probe.

Dr. Aggarwala, who is also the former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, questioned the credibility of the Hindenburg report, stating it might be part of a deliberate effort by India's adversaries to damage the country's growing economy. He argued that India's economic growth stands in contrast to the difficulties faced by neighboring countries.

According to Aggarwala, the Hindenburg report aims to undermine confidence in India's financial system and harm its economic interests. He dismissed the report's allegations against SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband as groundless, asserting that Hindenburg lacks credibility. He highlighted that if there were concrete evidence, the allegations should be addressed in court.

The Hindenburg report has previously impacted the stock prices of the Adani Group, a business empire led by Gautam Adani. SEBI and Adani have both dismissed the allegations, and SEBI has advised investors to stay calm, pointing out that Hindenburg holds potential conflicts of interest. (ANI)
