The Patiala House Court in Delhi has granted bail to Deepak Ramdani, an alleged cash courier for Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who has been in custody since August 2021. The case was initiated based on a complaint by Japna Singh, involving Chandrasekhar in a broader conspiracy.

Additional Sessions Judge Chander Jit Singh sanctioned bail considering Ramdani's extended custody and previous bail approvals for co-accused individuals. Judge Singh pointed out the Supreme Court's stance on bail as a legal norm. Despite not starting the trial yet, it was noted that various witnesses need to be examined.

Ramdani was granted bail upon providing a bond of Rs. 50,000 and two family member sureties. The court also found that stringent MCOCA charges weren't applicable, making the current bail plea different. Prosecution claims against Ramdani were contested, but this did not prevent his release.
