Tragic Incident: B Tech Student's Suicide at Muradnagar Rapid Rail Station

A 20-year-old B Tech student from Haryana tragically committed suicide at Muradnagar rapid rail station. Identified as Keshav, he had told friends he was going home. After arriving at the station, he jumped from the platform. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead. No suicide note was found.

A 20-year-old B Tech second-year student committed suicide on Sunday by jumping from the platform of the rapid rail station in Muradnagar, police reported.

The student, Keshav from Haryana, left his hostel Saturday evening, telling friends he was heading home, stated DCP (Rural) Surendra Nath Tiwari.

At 4 pm, Keshav, a computer science student, arrived at Muradnagar rapid rail station. He purchased a ticket to Ghaziabad, roamed the platform, and then jumped from the edge. Onlookers rushed him to Muradnagar's community health center, where he was declared dead.

The body was sent for postmortem, and his family was notified. No suicide note was found, and family members have yet to file any complaint, authorities said. DCP Tiwari assured appropriate action if a complaint is lodged.
