Spate of Violent Incidents Across Delhi: Police Step Up Efforts

In a spate of violent incidents across Delhi, police reported a brawl near a mall in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar on August 28. One individual, identified as Shoaib, sustained injuries in the altercation.
Officials noted that on August 27, information regarding the incident was received at the Mayur Vihar police station. Subsequent details surfaced from a hospital about an assault. The victim's statement has been recorded and a case has been filed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.
As investigations continue, it was revealed that a shooting took place at a café in Satya Niketan and another at a jewelry store in Mukherjee Nagar. Police disclosed that miscreants fled after firing shots. Moreover, Delhi police confirmed the arrest of 42-year-old Ravi (alias Rinku), a man wanted in seven criminal cases, following a brief exchange of fire. Ravi, the main suspect in a Gokalpuri murder, has sustained a gunshot wound below the knee.
