Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati remains stable after being hospitalized at a private facility in Hyderabad due to a five-day fever, according to Star Hospitals on Tuesday. He was admitted on Monday, September 9, and underwent a comprehensive medical evaluation.

Initial investigations revealed a lung infection, necessitating his immediate transfer to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close monitoring and treatment, the hospital bulletin said. The governor is under the care of a multidisciplinary team headed by Dr. Vikram Varma Jampana, Senior Consultant Physician, and Dr. Chandana Reddy, Senior Consultant for Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.

Currently, Babu Kambhampati is receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics and other necessary medications. His condition remains stable, and the hospital will continue to provide updates as needed, according to the bulletin.
