Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a virtual meeting on Sunday to review the development works and law and order before the upcoming festivals, according to an official release. The CM stated that stringent measures would be taken if public grievances are delayed.
Adityanath emphasized no compromise on women's safety and encouraged citizens to celebrate festivals with enthusiasm. He directed police to handle anarchic elements strictly. Additionally, he urged officials to maintain coordination and keep ministers updated on district progress. He also instructed prompt financial assistance to families affected by human-wildlife conflicts.
During his Bahraich visit, CM Yogi addressed wolf attack concerns, promising continuous 'Operation Bhediya' efforts until the threat is neutralized. He noted the ongoing efforts to rescue the 'killer' wolves and assured anti-rabies venom availability. The State Forest Department has intensified efforts to capture the elusive wolves affecting the region.
