IPO Surge: Latest Approvals from SEBI
SEBI has recently cleared IPO proposals from Vishal Mega Mart, ACME Solar Holdings, and Mamata Machinery. Other companies like Hyundai Motor India Ltd and Swiggy have also received approvals. In a recent update, SEBI has given the green light to initial public offerings (IPOs) for Vishal Mega Mart, ACME Solar Holdings, and Mamata Machinery. This comes as the IPO market in India continues its rapid growth.
Meanwhile, the draft offer document of manpower services company Innovision was returned by SEBI. Innovision had proposed an IPO consisting of fresh shares worth Rs 315 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 11.81 lakh shares.
Prior to this, Hyundai Motor India Ltd and Swiggy received approval to float IPOs, with Hyundai aiming to raise around USD 3 billion and Swiggy's IPO valued at over Rs 10,000 crore. The IPO market in India has already mobilized Rs 64,000 crore this year, marking a 29 percent increase from 2023.
