Union Minister Launches eShram Portal for Unorganised Worker Welfare
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya unveiled the 'eShram - One Stop Solution' portal, designed to ease access to social security schemes for unorganised workers. The platform aims to streamline registration, integrate with state portals, and connect workers with a range of government welfare programs for improved livelihoods.

In a significant move aimed at uplifting unorganised workers, Union Minister of Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, introduced the 'eShram - One Stop Solution' portal in New Delhi. The platform is a consolidated database designed to facilitate workers' access to various social security schemes.
During the launch event, Mandaviya emphasized the trust placed in eShram by workers, revealing that daily registrations range from 60,000 to 90,000. The portal serves as a bridge, simplifying the registration process and ensuring seamless access to government welfare schemes, thus enhancing transparency and efficiency.
Supporting the initiative, Minister of State, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, stressed the importance of integrating state government platforms with eShram to ensure comprehensive reach. The initiative targets potential beneficiaries and seeks to achieve scheme saturation. Over 30 crore workers have registered since the portal's inception on August 26, 2021.
