Sterlite Power Secures Record Orders, Eyes Global Expansion

Sterlite Power, on Wednesday, reported a milestone achievement by securing new orders amounting to Rs 2,250 crore through its Global Products and Services (GPS) business. This development comes as part of the company's strategic efforts to bolster India's green energy transmission infrastructure and widen its global reach.
The recent wins in new orders and the secured L1 positions of Rs 650 crore mark a record high for Sterlite's current financial year, underscoring their significant presence in the power transmission industry. The GPS segment includes high-performance conductors, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), power cables, and specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services.
According to Reshu Madan, CEO of Global Products and Services, there is substantial interest from domestic and international markets, showcasing a thriving global transmission sector. The repetition of orders for 144-fiber-count OPGW cable and notable EPC contracts highlight Sterlite Power's reputation as a reliable partner in power transmission.
