The Prayagraj District Magistrate has tightened regulations against overpricing during the Maha Kumbh Mela, pledging strict action against violations. Devotees are advised to rely on official updates and use designated transport services. CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his wishes for Magh Purnima as millions partake in traditional rituals at sacred sites.

Prayagraj's Maha Kumbh Mela is under the watchful eye of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar, who has issued a stern warning to businesses and traders against overpricing. Mandar emphasized that both the Mela and district administrations are closely monitoring the flow of essential vehicles, with nighttime reserved for heavy traffic.

The District Magistrate assured strict action against those found overcharging and advised devotees to follow official communications closely, steering clear of rumors. He encouraged visitors to utilize designated parking areas and shuttle services to Sangam, while efforts are underway to curb misinformation.

With over 48.83 million devotees already present, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings via social media on Magh Purnima. He monitored the event, noting the significant participation and expressing hope for prosperity and grace from the sacred rivers and deities upon the attendees.
