Uttrakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his sorrow following the passing of senior journalist Manjul Manjila. On Thursday, Chief Minister Dhami visited Manjila's residence in Harrawala to pay his respects, laying flowers at the journalist's photo. He offered condolences to the grieving family and prayed for the deceased's peace and the family's strength.

The Chief Minister instructed Banshidhar Tiwari, Director General of Information, to provide necessary assistance and financial support to Manjila's family in accordance with designated provisions. The visit was attended by Dehradun Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal and Tiwari, who joined the Chief Minister in mourning.

Manjul Manjila tragically succumbed to a heart attack on Monday while covering the National Games at Raipur stadium. He was quickly taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay District Hospital, but was declared dead upon arrival.
