BJP leader Navneet Rana expressed her delight as she participated in the holy ritual of taking a dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Thursday, amidst the ongoing Maha Kumbh, a religious congregation billed to occur once in 144 years. She noted the significant presence of the younger generation at the event.

In a show of unity and reverence, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with cabinet members, state Governor, MPs, and MLAs, took part in the sacred ritual. CM Sai lauded Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the exceptional arrangements made to accommodate the millions flocking to the site.

According to official data from the Uttar Pradesh government, by 10 am on Thursday, more than 2.73 million devotees had already immersed themselves in the holy waters. This includes over 500,000 Kalpavasis and more than 2.2 million pilgrims. As of February 12, the cumulative number of participants in Maha Kumbh 2025 has surpassed 482.9 million, marking it a historic spiritual gathering.
