Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam from February 23 to 25, as per a statement from the Prime Minister's Office. In Madhya Pradesh, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute, a Rs 200 crore facility aimed at providing free cancer treatment to underprivileged patients.
On February 24, Modi will open the Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal, a major event intended to attract global investments to Madhya Pradesh. The Summit will feature a series of departmental and international sessions focusing on various sectors such as pharma, logistics, and MSMEs, along with exhibitions highlighting the state's automotive and textile prowess.
Modi's itinerary includes a visit to Bhagalpur, Bihar, where he will release the 19th PM KISAN scheme instalment, providing financial benefits to over 9.7 crore farmers. He will also inaugurate developmental projects in Bihar, reinforce farmer welfare through FPOs, and inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds in Motihari. In Assam, the PM will participate in the Mega Jhumoir cultural event and inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, driving economic growth and infrastructure development in the state.
