Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, underlined the state budget's focus on the populace as the Mahayuti government reiterated its commitment to public welfare. Shinde assured that the government would continue its developmental efforts throughout its tenure.

Addressing the media, Shinde declared, "The budget is for the people, this government is for the people. We have prioritized progress and life improvements," while Finance Minister Ajit Pawar prepared to present his 11th state budget.

In cricket news, India secured their third ICC Champions Trophy with a decisive win over New Zealand in Dubai. Skipper Rohit Sharma's robust half-century, supported by stellar performances from Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav, led to India's triumph, strengthening their global cricketing prowess.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also conveyed his congratulations via social media, praising the team's strategic gameplay and unwavering spirit throughout the tournament. A video revealed him celebrating the victory with his family, highlighting the immense pride felt nationwide.
