In a chilling incident that unfolded in the Ghazipur area of Delhi, a young man was shot dead late on Sunday night. The police have registered a case under the Arms Act and murder, launching an investigation to uncover the culprits. Authorities are scrutinizing CCTV footage around the crime scene to identify the attacker and map the routes used to reach and flee from the site.
Currently, the motive behind this murder remains elusive and police efforts continue to identify the deceased. In a connected development, Delhi Police recently apprehended four individuals implicated in the killing of a 20-year-old man, whose body was discovered in Kailash Colony, Delhi, back in March. The police report indicates that this was not a random act of violence but a planned murder executed by the victim's brother-in-law and his accomplices as a result of domestic discord.
Revealing details of their investigation, police said the victim, identified as Hritik from Jagatpuri, Delhi, was previously admonished for mistreating his wife, the sister of one of the accused. After a comprehensive investigation involving CCTV analysis and technical surveillance, the Narcotics/NED team arrested Shivam, Sonu, Suraj, and Vishal from various Delhi locations, tying them to the case. This case underscores the complex interplay of personal relationships and crime.
