In a tragic turn of events, Indore Police have arrested three people, including a woman, in connection to a murder that occurred during a liquor party last week. The incident unfolded in an apartment at Mahalaxmi Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Lasudia Police Station, ultimately claiming the life of Bhavna Singh.
After a heated argument over song selection during the party, one of the accused, identified as Mukul Yadav, allegedly opened fire, injuring Singh fatally. Despite taking her to the hospital, the attackers fled. The police subsequently registered a case and initiated a manhunt to capture the suspects.
With the help of informers and technical surveillance, police cornered and arrested Ashu Yadav, Mukul Yadav, and Swasti Roy on the Delhi-Gwalior highway. Further investigations revealed the trio ran an online betting operation out of the apartment. A substantial seizure of mobile phones, ATMs, laptops, and bank accounts was made, and a separate probe has been launched into these activities.
