A tragic helicopter crash in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district has claimed the lives of five individuals, as confirmed by Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey. The ill-fated aircraft was carrying six passengers along with its captain, and crashed near the border area of Ganganani.
The aftermath of the crash was grim, with visuals depicting the mangled remains of the helicopter's interior. Commissioner Pandey reported that upon receiving news of the accident, emergency relief and rescue teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene to aid in recovery operations and extend medical assistance to the injured.
As investigations into the cause of the crash continue, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured the public that State Disaster Response Force and district administration teams have been deployed to the site. "I have directed the administration to offer every possible assistance to the wounded and to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of this tragic event," CM Dhami stated.
