In light of India's recent precision strikes on terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, renowned author and Advaita teacher Acharya Prashant has weighed in on the tense situation. In an interview with ANI, Prashant argued that sometimes a forceful response is necessary when adversaries fail to heed peaceful measures. He questioned the motives of Pakistan, suggesting that their military benefits from ongoing hostilities which hinder democracy in the country.

Acharya Prashant emphasized that the exorbitant financial burden of war is unsustainable, especially for an economy as fragile as Pakistan's. He noted that Pakistan's military establishment thrives on enmity with India to justify its authority. He stressed that while India harbors no animosity towards the Pakistani people, the real conflict exists with an army that prioritizes hostility over national interest.

Prashant further warned against succumbing to provocations that distract from India's broader ambitions of becoming a global leader in innovation and human development. He urged for a return to thoughtful discourse over reactionary sentiments, highlighting that true victory lies in maintaining mental clarity and strategic focus. Engaging in prolonged conflict, he argued, only serves those who seek to disrupt India's progress.
