With tensions escalating between India and Pakistan, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat reaffirmed the organization's support for national unity in these challenging times. In a statement at Belagavi airport, he emphasized collective strength by stating, "Everyone is together at this time."
During his two-day visit to Dharwad, Bhagwat plans to visit the Rashtrotthana Center, where an RSS camp will be held. His participation underscores the group's commitment supportive of the Indian government and military officials amidst the current conflict.
Earlier, RSS extended its support toward "Operation Sindoor," an initiative aimed at tackling Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. The organization praised the central government's decisive actions following a brutal terrorist attack on unarmed tourists. The RSS appealed to the public to uphold national unity by adhering to government directives and remaining vigilant against destabilizing forces.
The Indian Army successfully countered a series of drone attacks launched by Pakistan along the western border and the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. In their response, Indian forces utilized the indigenously developed Akash missile system, which officials credit as integral to thwarting these aggressions.
