Rupani's identity, confirmed by DNA testing, allowed arrangements for his funeral to proceed. His cremation in Rajkot with full state honours is set for later today, with the hearse van adorned in 2,000 kilograms of flowers.
Amidst the mourning, meticulous efforts by hospital staff continue to identify victims, with 33 bodies handed over to grieving families. Authorities ensure each handover is conducted with dignity while assisting impacted families emotionally and logistically.
