On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, Paramesh Sivamani, along with others, practiced yoga in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Speaking to ANI, DG Sivamani emphasized the stress-free benefits of yoga, linking it to positive emotions and improved humanity.
The 11th International Yoga Day was marked by celebrations at the Air Force Station in New Delhi with the theme 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health.' Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address, participants engaged in synchronized yoga poses, aligning with the Air Force's focus on wellness and unity.
The Andaman and Nicobar Command held large-scale yoga events in various key locations, reflecting national spirit and enthusiasm. Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in Ahmedabad, advocating yoga's integration into daily routines worldwide. In a remarkable feat, 2,121 participants in Gujarat's Vadnagar set a Guinness World Record by holding the cobra pose for over two minutes.
