A multitude of devotees converged on Haridwar's historic Har Ki Pauri on Sunday for Ekadashi, a revered day in Hindu tradition marked by fasting and spiritual rituals. The ceremonial dip in the Ganga River, a time-honored custom, brought a profound sense of peace to participants.
Himanshu Sharma from Amroha village described the experience as invigorating and encouraged others to take part in the ritual. Similarly, Arun Pratap Singh from Faridabad commended the event's organization, highlighting the effective management that enhanced the festivities.
Ekadashi, a day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, saw pilgrims arriving from afar to partake in the holy bath and honor Ganga Mata. The event followed the observance of Ganga Dussehra, drawing large crowds on consecutive days, as devotees engaged in prayer, ritual bathing, and the chanting of religious hymns.
