A mechanic tragically fell to his death from the eighth floor of a Netaji Subhash Place building in Delhi while repairing an air conditioning unit. The incident occurred on a Sunday afternoon, with police launching an investigation to determine the sequence of events and whether safety protocols were observed.
In a separate distressing event, police discovered a 23-year-old labourer hanging in Masoodpur village, near the Vasant Kunj North area of Delhi. Authorities responded to a PCR call about the suicide on Saturday. The deceased, identified as Uday Bhan from Uttar Pradesh, had recently moved to Delhi for work.
Bhan, who worked night shifts at a Metro construction site, was found by his brother, Hetram, who noticed him through the window. The body was transported to Safdarjung Hospital where he was declared dead, with no indications of foul play reported. Investigations in both incidents continue.
