NTPC Green Energy Powers Gujarat's Solar Future

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) announced it has commenced commercial operations for a 64.7-MW solar power capacity in Gujarat. This development is a segment of a substantial 1,255-MW solar power project.
The company revealed in a regulatory filing that this phase, called the Khavda-I Solar PV Project, is now operational. The project is part of the CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III and officially began commercial operations on June 30.
Previously, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited had declared commercial operations for additional segments of the project, producing 110.25 MW and 146.7 MW, starting June 6 and June 28, respectively.
