Hindustan Power has successfully secured a prestigious contract from state-owned SJVN for the development of a 100 MW solar project. This initiative also includes a crucial 200 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system.
The contract was obtained through a tariff-based competitive bidding process and a successful e-reverse auction, reflecting Hindustan Power's competitive edge in the industry.
In a statement, Chairman Ratul Puri expressed confidence that integrating solar power with energy storage will effectively manage peak power demands and provide an uninterrupted power supply. This project exemplifies the company's commitment to building a reliable and sustainable energy system.
