Uttar Pradesh's E-Lottery Empowers Farmers with Subsidized Equipment

The Uttar Pradesh government is set to offer subsidized agricultural equipment to farmers using an e-lottery system. District Magistrates will supervise the lottery process across all 75 districts. Bookings are made through various schemes aimed at promoting agricultural mechanization and edible oil production.

The Uttar Pradesh government is implementing a groundbreaking initiative by providing farmers with subsidized agricultural equipment through an e-lottery system.

Supervised by District Magistrates across the state’s 75 districts, the lottery will be conducted on August 7 and 8, according to an official statement.

Booking for these essential farming tools has been facilitated through the departmental portal, covering schemes like the Promotion of Agricultural Mechanisation for In-situ Management of Crop Residue and Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation. Additionally, bookings for Mini Oil Mill Extraction Units and Tarpaulin are being conducted under the National Mission on Edible Oilseed scheme.
