The Uttar Pradesh government is implementing a groundbreaking initiative by providing farmers with subsidized agricultural equipment through an e-lottery system.
Supervised by District Magistrates across the state's 75 districts, the lottery will be conducted on August 7 and 8, according to an official statement.
Booking for these essential farming tools has been facilitated through the departmental portal, covering schemes like the Promotion of Agricultural Mechanisation for In-situ Management of Crop Residue and Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation. Additionally, bookings for Mini Oil Mill Extraction Units and Tarpaulin are being conducted under the National Mission on Edible Oilseed scheme.
